LAS TEORÍAS DE LAS EMOCIONES Y SU RELACIÓN CON LA COGNICIÓN: UN ANÁLISIS DESDE LA FILOSOFÍA DE LA MENTE

Resumen


Este trabajo aborda la discusión en torno a la caracterización de las emociones que mantienen las corrientes cognitiva y perceptiva, que son habitualmente concebidas como modos incompatibles de dar cuenta del fenómeno emocional. En particular, examinaré los alcances del desacuerdo, elucidando los conceptos claves sobre los que éste se erige, con el objeto de mostrar que el desacuerdo mismo y las dificultades que de él emergen para brindar una adecuada caracterización del fenómeno, pueden ser superados o al menos, deben ser reconceptualizados.
